Terms of Service
Effective date: July 28, 2026
Welcome to Stashel. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Stashel mobile application and related services (together, the "Service"), provided by QuelTech, LLC ("Stashel," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who can use Stashel
You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. By using Stashel, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Stashel supports Sign in with Apple; you are responsible for keeping access to the Apple ID or credentials you use to sign in. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
3. What Stashel does
Stashel lets you catalog physical items and other information — typically by photographing them, tagging them, and organizing them into spaces and households — so you can find them again, share them with family members, and keep records for purposes such as insurance or warranties. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the content you add.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the photos, item details, notes, documents, and other content you add to Stashel ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you and the people you share it with. We do not sell Your Content, and we do not use it to train third-party advertising models.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content, including images of documents, products, or other people's belongings.
5. Family sharing and households
Stashel allows you to share items and spaces with other members of a household. When you share content:
- Members you invite may be able to view, and depending on their role, edit or delete shared items.
- You are responsible for who you invite and what you share with them.
- If a member leaves a household, items are handled according to their ownership as described in the app. Content you created generally remains yours.
Do not share content with a household that you are not permitted to share.
6. Subscriptions, tiers, and payment
Stashel offers a free tier and paid tiers (Personal, Family, and Business). On iOS, paid subscriptions are billed through Apple In-App Purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple App Store account settings.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
Feature availability differs by tier. We may change tier features with reasonable notice.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to store unlawful content.
- Upload content that infringes others' rights or violates their privacy.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
- Resell or commercially exploit the Service except as expressly permitted (e.g., the Business tier for your own business inventory).
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
8. Data export and deletion
You may export your data and request deletion of your account at any time through the app. Data export is available on all tiers. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify Your Content in accordance with our Privacy Policy, subject to any retention required by law.
9. Service availability
We work to keep the Service running reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features.
10. Disclaimers
Stashel is a tool for organizing and recording your belongings. It is not a substitute for professional advice (including insurance, legal, or financial advice). You are responsible for verifying that any records you keep meet the requirements of any third party (such as an insurer) who may rely on them.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuelTech, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
